I drew nothing but cartoons last year for my ebook which I'm almost done with. I need to draw at least 3 realistic drawings this year and a few comic book style characters or my head will explode.

I've basically dropped everything and am working on illustrating the children's book I wrote. Doing it with Prismacolor markers which is completely new for me. I don't like working with color since I'm red-green color blind, but I figured if I ever want the book to be published (self-publishing as an e-book), I'd have to do it myself. Slowly going as I learn markers, but it's a lot of fun too.
