Slingshot

I did a superhero for my daughter, so naturally, had to do one for my 6 year-old son. He wanted to be "Gunner," an army type hero. But a kid shooting guns...nah. I suggested a slingshot, that's more of a kid thing. He agreed. This is what I came up with.

(Apparently, there is a superhero named Slingshot, but has nothing to do with an actual slingshot. Lame. [link] )

I swear, in comic book world, every name has been taken. Anyway, ours shoots little mechanical robot balls with faces on them,lol, and he can fly with power boots. It was fun drawing it, used a bunch of different references, and of course, I shaded too much. I'll never break that habit--hey, that's my trademark.
